J2ME Based SIP Communicator

Mobile based sip-communicator, real time application implemented using j2me and sip api. The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signaling protocol used for establishing and controlling multimedia communication sessions on networks that use the Internet Protocol (IP). A session is as simple as a two-way phone call. SIP was primarily designed to establish, modify, and terminate sessions. This simplicity makes SIP quite scalable and extensible, and it can be used easily in different architectures and deployment scenarios.

Java Video transmission

Its supported by Video Transmit class provided by the JMF API. Sun, Silicon Graphics (SGI) and Intel designed and specified the original JMF 1.0 in mid-1998. This enables audio, video and other time-based media to be added to applications and applets built on Java technology. Hence a comprehensive project in this domain may open the doors to Multimedia giants.
